ABOUT R B TAYLOR
Robert Taylor’s original feature screenplay Muggers premiered at Cannes in 1999 and was nominated for the Australian Writers Guild’s Best Original screenplay award. A second original feature screenplay, Cliffy premiered on ABC TV (Australia) in 2013 to critical and popular acclaim and outstanding ratings.
He has optioned, sold, or been assigned a further twelve feature film scripts in the US, the UK and Australia to Oscar-nominated and Palme d’Or, Golden Lion and Golden Globe-winning producers. These include Stealing America (Prod: Michel Shane – I, Robot, Catch Me if You Can) and David Redman (Prod: Before the Rain) and All I Want (Prod: Gareth Wiley – Match Point, Vicki, Christina, Barcelona).
He has taught screenwriting/creative writing at universities in the US, the UK and Australia. He lives in Bath, Somerset with his wife, Juliet.
The Great Pockes is his second novel.
